The book is Velimir's lyrical autobiography in which, through 29 stories, he writes quite honestly and openly about his childhood and growing up on the asphalt of Trešnjevka, personal ups and downs, love and political experiences, and journeys through landscapes and through life. The book alternates between touching and very often witty and self-ironic lines from family life, love enchantments and disappointments, education and business journey. The author invites us to take a nostalgic journey through the past, as he says in the book: "not to grieve for what has passed, but to rejoice because it all happened and was written down."
THAT DISGUSTING POLITICS
This is a book about Velimir's path in politics and an analysis of how and why he failed. At the same time, it is not an excuse for that failure, but it speaks to the reasons why people did not recognize the values he advocated. At the same time, Velimir decided to keep and further spread his idealistic beliefs about honesty and diligence, believing that the situation could change by gaining a critical mass of like-minded people.
LIFE AS A GAME
Algoritam and Delfin, 2009.
The book starts from the point of view that we live in a world of disturbed values and it is not easy to be successful at work, in the family, in public life and in relationships with friends at the same time. The author argues that if we are smart, we will try to change the world. If we are wise, we will change ourselves. This book is written for everyone who wants to make their business, private, public and social life harmonious and happy. The book is an original work and contains a series of "mental models" and is a kind of synthesis of all previous experiences, ideas, concepts and approaches that the author has tested through his rich life, business, family, political and scientific practice.
The book has a foreword by President Ivo Josipović and is a unique attempt to fully describe the problems of Croatia and define a vision of possible development in the next decade. The first half of the book describes the inherited situation, depicting the grayness that reigns in this area in large strokes, not bothering the reader with details, allowing everyone to diagnose Croatian society and economy without the author's persuasion. The second half of the book is Croatia 2020, as the author would like to see it.

If you love creative poetry, this is the book for you. Each song represents a kind of play on words, form, or both. The songs in the rhymes are set to music. Each verse of a poem is read equally front and back. Disassembled into verses, like Lego bricks, one song served as the material for as many as five new songs. Some songs parody television commercials, others are ridiculed by "folk". An "haiku" is made from an ordinary song. The choice of words and metaphors will make you laugh or cry, encourage you to think or surprise you, inspire you to start the "game" yourself.
